Inner awareness

Tuesdays 7-8PM, Open session, No charge

A one hour guided meditation.

Chris walks you through the very basics of meditation: from sitting posture, simple stretching exercises, and when and how to meditate.
Step by step guidance on how to successfully watch the background consciousness without getting distracted by mental movements, external sounds and physical sensations. Simple breathing techniques, affirmations and counting methods are introduced. The aim: to develop concentration and alertness, to let go and experience inner contentment and a new, fresh sense of self.
Individual questions are welcomed and answered in class, giving rise to discussion about the practical application of meditation in our daily lives as well as yogic lifestyle and philosophy.
